Cloud-based MPS set to grow as IDC names Xerox as industry leader
IDC has recognized Xerox as a global leader in both cloud-based MPS and providing print to a distributed workforce. These endorsements support new opportunities for Xerox channel partners as businesses rapidly evolve their print and workflow infrastructure.
In the near future 46% of businesses are looking to move to cloud-based printing and/or print management according to IDC. For small and mid-size businesses (SMBs), cloud-based MPS can provide better management and support, strengthen security, improve productivity and reduce the need for onsite service technicians.
“Already an established leader in the MPS space, Xerox has worked to add value to its existing programs and platforms while extending its reach beyond the enterprise to SMB through platform expansion and channel partner enablement,” said IDC in its Marketscape: Worldwide Cloud MPS Hardcopy 2022 report. Xerox praised for its MPS innovation and cloud-first approach
IDC also observed that Xerox continues to innovate within its MPS suite and its cloud-first approach to print and print-related services. Xerox supports one of the broadest ranges of mobile and digital workflows, backed by its high availability virtual print operating centre and 20 years of experience hosting cloud services on a global scale.”
A leader in distributed print too as organizations face new workforce challenges
Additionally, IDC has positioned Xerox as a leader for addressing print in the distributed workforce on a global level in its MarketScape: Worldwide Print in the Distributed Workforce 2022 report.
“The company’s hardware/software/services product portfolio demonstrates Xerox’s considerable attention to the new challenges organizations face with an increasingly distributed workforce. Buyers can feel good about investments made with Xerox to address this daunting future of work evolution,” said IDC.
